Is there any information about the date of release other than the "August"? I would like to try new civs already.

That is pretty cringe to tie an Empire Wars tournament to the release of an unnecessary DLC like that.I was just thinking...
The RBW 5 announcement explicitly states that more information comes on August 12.
Usually you would just simply say "More information to follow soon", or something along those lines.
Could that August 12 date be connected to the DLC's release maybe?
That would make sense with the devs:D also from what I've seen African Royals aoe3 was released yesterday so they will want to "keep the hype" around this new expansion for some period before giving us something else.I was just thinking...

I don't agree with that. How many people who play AoE2 play any amount of AoE3? No one here ever talks about actually playing AoE3, they only mention it in reference to the source of game mechanics found in expansions or changes to DE.That would make sense with the devs:D also from what I've seen African Royals aoe3 was released yesterday so they will want to "keep the hype" around this new expansion for some period before giving us something else.
I mean it would make sense that these devs would decide to do it = D I didn't express myself clearly.I don't agree with that. How many people who play AoE2 play any amount of AoE3? I doubt it as I think the dlc will only release until anyone has been reminded that dotd and aoe4 can be bought in a preorder bundle and that will happen at gamescomI was just thinking...

isn't the deal that you get dotd for free (such value!) if you preorder AoE4I doubt it as I think the dlc will only release until anyone has been reminded that dotd and aoe4 can be bought in a preorder bundle and that will happen at gamescom

Announcement on AoE website: https://www.ageofempires.com/news/aoe2de-dukes-preorder/
Both Lith and Poles get Winged Hussar in place of normal Hussar. This is a light cav upgradeIts coming faster than expected, which means their tg ladder fix should come in the same patch.
I don0t know if i am reading it wrong, but are lithuanians getting a new hussar unit or just the looking of it?
Let's hope they're going to get something nerf (hopefully thr 150 food at the start) in exchange. So far so good, but idk about the winged hussar for lithuanians... do they need a buff ?
yeah sure. Let's give the probably best pocket civ an even beter Hussar.Leave Lithuanians alone
