Imho this was the best tournament we had this year. My only complaints are the seeds and the duration of the tournament. Only three days for that many matches seems a bit off, but that's me and it doesn't change how good the tournament was. There are people crying over the brackets so it sounds like you did a good job Chrazini!

Just let the top 16 or top 32 rated players, which signed up, make a list for top 16/32 seeding and then average it.
This isn't DE Nomad. Organisers worked on the balance and it looks ok.Ah yes, one more complaint: Nomad is a classic map, but I think it should nver be part of a map pool tournament this big. It feels like there's too much luck involved
Or rather just use https://aoe-elo.com/players (aka tournament elo) to seed the top 16 players instead of the hilarious and manipulable ranked 1v1 which gave the terrible seedings we have seen in this tournament.Just get Viper to make a seeding for the tournament as he is the objective and most knowledgeable about the players and their skill.

That's terrible enough. I would let you play in the tournament and start from the final for a big commitment. On that topic, im already waking up 8am to play at 9 am
That's not an island time limit problem, it's the fact that there should not be a structure being able to create resources out of thin air. Swap Portoguese with another civ and time limit doesn't matter because they don't have feitoriasHaha, I suggested twice or even 3 times to lower the time limit on Islands and look what we get. I'm sorry but this is an awful game
No.Did Liereyy and Jordan play their semi at the same time as Tatoh and Yo? If not, that should be fixed for next time, especially after HC1, HC2 and RBW1...
That's a big surprise after Viper has spoken about this issue in the past.
No, the problem is islands with a weird time limit, not Portuguese. That's not an island time limit problem, it's the fact that there should not be a structure being able to create resources out of thin air. I really would love to hear some explanation from the person who thought 1:45 was the perfect time limit set for Islands. Who came up with this? No, the problem is islands with a weird time limit, not Portuguese.
The time limit is kept because Islands can result in a stalemate when wood runs out. So you definitely need a time limit for Islands. The issue was that the time limit was not consistent with the timing of wood running out, as Viper himself admitted.
It would have made a very very interesting game had the time limit been around 1:15 - just like the Liereyy vs Vinchester game in RBW4, which turned out to be one of the best Islands game!
Third place match was played in between the second semifinal and the grand final so it's not like the second set winner had no time to rest in between. That's a big surprise after Viper has spoken about this issue in the past.
I did. Now go ahead and stone me for making such a horrible mistake. If this is what you're looking for then - you were right. You were 100% right that the limit should have been lower. I was afraid of putting it too early where it could affect the competitiveness in the opposite direction. Obviously, I overshot by a fair bit.I really would love to hear some explanation from the person who thought 1:45 was the perfect time limit set for Islands. Who came up with this?
Not gonna stone anyone but you ruined a possibly incredible final with your awful decision despite the fact that people ( not only me ) suggested lowering time limit.I did.
