Statement: memb and nili are clearly the weakest casters.
Argumentation: just watch the youtube comment section.

You got to be kidding. Memb and nili are two of the most knowledgable casters in the escape gaming casting team. I have seen some casters making completely false statements in a better accent.
you have to add up all of the many skills that make a great cast, such as tone, rhythm, diction, pace, and the general verbal grace and charisma you need to keep someone's interest by talking to them for an hour or three. it's an extremely difficult skill. (...), but anyone who watches sports or tv or listens to the radio in any language knows what clear, high quality standard issue broadcasting elocution sounds like and nili and memb tend to veer widely from that standard
I disagree that Memb and Nili are the weakest casters in ECL, and I also really appreciate everything Memb and Nili do for the community. I think you missed a very valid opinion though:
@gmischa may disagree, but that's not the same as having no arguments. I agree with the above regarding Nili. It took me a while to get used to Memb's casting but now I enjoy it (and was a sub for a long time).
Being a caster involves multiple skills. Nobody questions Nili's superiority in terms of game knowledge. However, I'm unable to watch his casting for more than 1 hour. Usually it's mostly about the tone (super acute), then smaller things like the hype attempt that feels out of place, and a very minor thing: I find using acronyms very distracting when I just want to shut off my brain and watch a series.
I have no idea how many people feel this way. If it's only a minority feeling, that's ok.
Contrast this with T90 for example. His casting style is super professional and a joy to watch.
It's a shame for me because I LOVE Nili's tournaments: e.g. KOTH, COTH, NAC. I tried to watch this saturday's ECL 2v2 VODs but quickly lost interest.
Well my point was about the structure of these player introductions, DauT can be exchanged for any player and the meaning won't change. I knew that Daut was already interviewed (and it was executed well), but I have my own vision about how it can been done in a different way, especially when it comes to introducing the player to people that are unfamiliar with our community. There already was a video about Daut played by Escape. They could start introducing other plajers and not only Secret which probably won't ever happen though.
Can somebody summarize the last 5/6 pages for me?
So many walls of text
We need another Toccoracca or a Gerry to spam those drama threads every weekMore like 0/10. Aoezone drama is no longer what it used to be.
Just out of curiosity, what drama are you talking about?More like 0/10. Aoezone drama is no longer what it used to be.
I find it unfortunate that this discussion is being referred as 'Drama'.
If I could coherently write this long of a response to this, I'd write exactly what you wrote. Well written.I find it unfortunate that this discussion is being referred as 'Drama'.

how to make tounrement hype:just for the protocol: NAC1 was the best aoe2 tournement and only NAC2 can top it.
dont forget the hidden cupjust for the protocol: NAC1 was the best aoe2 tournement and only NAC2 can top it.
dont forget the hidden cup
Hidden-Cup was just bullshit. You dont know who is playing so u cant cheer for your favorite, no tension, in everygame it doesnt matter who win.
HiddenCup was fun for a while I guess, but it had the huge problem that it wasnt hosted LAN at Nili's apartment.
