Major Games Dropping in 2024

Now that the GTA 6 trailer has finally dropped, gaming fans all over the world have been hyped up as much as they could be. However, the downside is that the game is set to release in 2025, which is a pretty long waiting time. Till then, all we can do is wait for new games to drop in 2024 so that we can get our hands on them. Meanwhile, if you have a PlayStation, you could head to the PlayStation Store and make the best out of the End of Year sale, which has games up to 90% off.

To purchase and download these games, you need to have the sort of internet connection that is fast and reliable enough to download these games as quickly as possible. For that matter, we would suggest that you look into Spectrum Internet since it not only gives you a superfast internet speed but it also makes sure that your games are downloaded as seamlessly as possible.

Coming back to the games set to release in 2024, here are some games that are going to release next year and we can’t wait for them to release. The titles that you need to keep an eye out for include the following:

  1. Tekken 8

The first game that we will be talking about is none other than Tekken 8, the OG fighting game. The first Tekken game came out back in 1994 on the PlayStation 1 and the rest is history. The game starts off with the feud within the Mishima bloodline, which includes Jinpachi Mishima, his son Heihachi Mishima, his son Kazuya Mishima, and his son, Jin Kazama. In the previous Tekken game, Tekken 7 we saw the feud between Kazuya and Heihachi come to an end as Heihachi had finally apparently perished in a fight with his son Kazuya.

We can only wait and see what the story has in store for us with the release of Tekken 8. Till now, we have had numerous trailers that have shown the gameplay for various characters and the game looks pretty promising. However, nothing has been released in terms of the storyline and we will only have to wait until January 2024 for the story to unfold.

  1. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

Another game that is releasing in January 2024 is Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth which is a spin-off to the hit sensation game, Yakuza. The game again will explore the life of a gang and the kind of things that you would have to do so that you could establish dominance. The game is going to take place in Hawaii instead of Japan, which is going to be something new. In this game, our protagonist travels all the way to Hawaii so that they can visit their mother who has cancer. Like its predecessor, this game is also going to have a turn-based combat system and you would have to pick up jobs that would give you different perks and would alter your playstyle accordingly.

If you really want to make the best out of the whole Yakuza experience, then you should definitely wait for the game to release early next year so that you can play it. Before that, you should definitely play Like a Dragon: Ishin! so that you can make sense of the story!

  1. Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth

Major news for Final Fantasy fans all over the world, as the next part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy is dropping early next year as well. The game is set to drop at the end of February next year. The game originally came out in 1997 and the game went through a remake in 2020 and it was announced that the game would be broken down into a trilogy. We are finally getting the second part in 2024 and Cloud and his gang will go up against Sephiroth one more time, even after it was assumed that Sephiroth had perished.

This time we might even get to see more of Zack Fair, someone who has been a very loved character in the Final Fantasy series. The game will have some similarities with the original game with some slight changes to the story, like they did with the 2020 remake.

  1. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Finally, a game that is based on the anti-heroes instead of the heroes. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be based on anti-heroes who are supposed to take down the Justice League that have gone rogue because of Brainiac’s control of their mind. The game will take place five years after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight. The villains included in Suicide Squad include major Arkham inmates such as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark.

The superheroes that are under Brainiac’s control include Superman, Batman, Flash, and Green Lantern. However, the only hero that is not under Brainiac’s control is Wonder Woman and we believe that she will have something to do with helping the Suicide Squad get the Justice League back to normal and deal with the threat of Brainiac.

Wrapping Up

So there you have it, some of the highly anticipated games that are releasing next year. So make sure you get your hands on them as soon as you can so that you can experience the games and have your own opinion as well!
